As Institutional Sales Manager at BTC Markets, Michael builds and manages relationships with institutional investors, financial institutions, brokers and corporate clients across Australia. He works closely with clients to deliver secure, regulated digital asset trading and custody solutions that align with institutional investment and operational requirements.

Michael brings more than 30 years' experience across global financial markets, with deep expertise in institutional sales, electronic trading, market infrastructure and financial technology. Throughout his career, he's partnered with banks, brokers, exchanges, proprietary trading firms and asset managers, helping organisations implement trading technology, enhance market connectivity and navigate evolving capital markets across FX, derivatives, fixed income and digital assets.

Before joining BTC Markets, Michael held senior commercial and business development roles at LiquidityTech, Integral, Trading Technologies, the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) and Macquarie Bank. At ASX, he worked closely with market participants to drive adoption of exchange services and technology solutions; at Macquarie Bank, he supported institutional clients across capital markets and trading operations. This experience across both traditional financial markets and digital assets gives him a broad perspective on the continued convergence of institutional finance and blockchain-based markets.

Michael is driven by helping institutions access digital assets with confidence, through trusted market infrastructure, strong regulatory standards and innovative technology.
