iOS:

You can download the app for iPhone devices from the App Store.

Android:

You can download the app for Android devices from Google Play.

The mobile app is only available for iPhones with an operating system of iOS 17 or later, and Android devices running Android 8 or higher. Some display issues may be observed with older operating systems.

You may not be able to download the app due to insufficient storage space on your device, or if you are in a sanctioned country, or a country where cryptocurrency transactions are illegal.

With BTC Markets, your account security is our top priority. Our mobile app uses the same industry-recognised, best security standards as our web app. We also have some mobile app-specific security features to give you peace of mind:

• The app uses our secure authentication system that monitors unusual logins.
• The app offers PIN and device native biometrics for ongoing authentication.
• The app auto-locks after 2 minutes, if backgrounded for 2 minutes, or the phone goes to sleep for 2 minutes. PIN or biometrics must be used again to access your account.
• Customers only have 3 PIN attempts before they have to log in using email/username and password again.
• Users cannot login with PIN or biometrics if the app is inactive for 30 days, and active session will expire after 60 days. Users will follow the standard login procedure using their email/username and password.

Yes, you can withdraw both fiat and crypto via the app. You will need to have two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled on your account to use this feature.

• Market Order: An order that executes at the best available bid/ask price.
• Limit Order: An order that is placed to execute at a specific price.
• Stop Limit Order: A limit order that is only placed when a trigger price is met or passed.

Trades are placed via the Buy/Sell tab. You can choose between a simple Buy/Sell order (market order), or tap the “Advanced” tab for more order types and market details.

After clicking the “Confirm” button for your order, you will be shown a screen advising the order status. Trades executions will have a status of “fully matched” or “partially matched”.

Your portfolio and available balance will also be automatically updated based on your latest order.

You can check order statuses and review order history via the Orders section on the Account tab, and see completed transactions/trades via the Transaction history section on the Account tab.

Current open orders that haven’t fully executed yet are also listed at the bottom of the Advanced Buy/Sell screen (only open orders relating to the current selected market pair are shown).

Orders:

You can view all of your previously placed orders in the Orders section on the Account tab. You can also filter the list to only show open orders by tapping the Open tab at the top of the screen. You can select any of orders to see more details.

Transactions:

Transaction history shows all executed transactions including buys, sells, buy transfers, sell transfers, deposits, withdrawals, rewards, and airdrops etc. You can view your last 200 transactions by navigating to the Transaction history section on the Account tab. You can select any of these transactions to see more details.

Transfers:

You can view all of your previous transfers including buy transfers, sell transfers, deposits, withdrawals, rewards, and airdrops etc. via the Transfer history section on the Account tab. You can select any of these transfers to see more details.

We understand that users may not be interested in all the markets listed here at BTC Markets. The watch list allows you to focus on only the markets that are of most interest to you.

This means you can spend less time scrolling and more time trading.
