Transferring crypto from Binance to BTC Markets

Below is our step-by-step guide to transferring your cryptocurrency holdings from Binance to your BTC Markets account.

Firstly, check our ‘deposit' page to view the list of supported cryptocurrencies on the BTC Markets exchange.

All crypto deposits are free on BTC Markets.

Then, open both your Binance and BTC Markets accounts so they are readily accessible.

You will need to copy the deposit address from your BTC Markets account and paste into Binance to facilitate the transfer.

You will also need to have two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled on your Binance account to withdraw (and we strongly recommend that you enable it on your BTC Markets account too for added account security).

Ensure you only deposit crypto via the supported network specified in the deposit message on the BTC Markets page.

For mobile:

• Open the Binance app.
• Click on ‘Wallets’ icon in the bottom right-hand corner.
• Select the crypto you want to transfer to your BTC Markets account.
• Click on the ‘Withdraw’ button on the lower left.
• Select ‘Send via Crypto Network’ – this will open your ‘Send’ crypto screen.
• Open the BTC Markets app.
• Click on the ‘Account’ icon on the bottom right-hand corner.
• Click on ‘Deposit Crypto’ – select the crypto that you are transferring from Binance to BTC Markets.
• Click the ‘Copy’ button for the long crypto address – this will copy your crypto address to the clipboard on your device. If depositing an asset that requires a tag e.g. XRP or XLM, ensure you click the copy button for the tag and paste that into the 'Tag' field on the Binance app. Reminder: Ensure that you only deposit crypto via the supported network specified in the deposit message.
• Go back to the Binance app – paste your BTC Markets deposit address in the ‘Address’ field.
• Select the network that corresponds to the deposit message on the BTC Markets deposit page.
• Select the amount you want to send.
• Select the wallet you want to send from.
• Click ‘Withdraw’.
• Review the details of your withdrawal and if everything looks correct, click ‘Confirm’
• Click Authenticator App, navigate to the authentication app that you’ve set up with your Binance account and copy the code. Paste this code into the input field on Binance. You will see a green tick once this have been successfully entered.
• Click Email, and then click Get code to receive a one-time security code to your email. Copy and paste this code from your email into the input field. You will see a green tick once this has been successfully entered.
• You should see a confirmation screen that your withdrawal is processing, and that’s it. Your crypto should be deposited and visible in your BTC Markets shortly after.

For desktop:

• Log in to your Binance account.
• Click on ‘Wallet’ in the top right-hand corner.
• Click ‘Fiat and Spot (Deposit & Withdraw)’.
• Select the ‘Withdraw’ tab to the right of the crypto you want to transfer to your BTC Markets account. This will take you to the ‘Withdraw Crypto’ page.
• Open your BTC Markets account.
• Click on the ‘Deposit’ tab on the top left of the screen.
• Under Deposit Crypto’ – select the crypto that you are transferring to your BTC Markets from Binance.
• Click the ‘Copy’ button for the long crypto address – this will copy your crypto address to the clipboard on your device. If depositing an asset that requires a tag e.g. XRP or XLM, ensure you click the copy button for the tag and paste that into the 'Tag' field on the Binance app.
• Go back to the Binance page, select the ‘Address’ tab in the ‘Send to’ section then paste your BTC Markets deposit address.
• Select the network that corresponds to the deposit message on the BTC Markets deposit page - If you are ever in doubt, please contact our Australian-based support team, who are always happy to assist you.
• Select the amount you want to send.
• Select the wallet you want to send from.
• Select withdraw.
• If you have two-factor authentication turned on (which you should), enter your code from the app and confirm.
• Your transfer is now complete.

Depending on the cryptocurrency you're sending, processing times will vary. However, your crypto will usually be reflected in your BTC Markets wallet shortly after completing the transfer of crypto to your BTC Markets account.

You will receive an email to the registered email address associated with your BTC Markets account which will confirm the crypto deposit.

Following these steps will allow you to easily transfer your cryptocurrency from Binance to your BTC Markets account.
